Oba Ibeun Coronates Ajaponna as Olowu of Owu Ayinaku in Mopa
His Royal Majesty, Oba Muyiwa Ibeun, has coronated Chief Olatunde Josiah as the Olowu of Owu Ayinaku, Mopa.
The coronation follows the approval of the Mopa Traditional Council (MTC) after Chief Josiah fulfils all necessary requirements.
Administering the kingmaking coronation traditional rights, the Balogun of Mopa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Clarence Olafemi congratulated the people of Mopa and Owu Ayinaku in particular, emphasizing the significance of having kings within the community.
Oba Ibeun also congratulated the new king, urging him to continually uphold the traditions and customs of the land for progress and development.
The Olowu of Owu Ayinaku, His Royal Highness, Oba Olatunde Josiah, was installed as the Ajaponna of Ayinaku before his coronation as the Oba.
The people of Owu Ayinaku, led by the Aro of Ayinaku and Elewe-eri of Ayinaku, Chiefs Makinde Oyebode and Micheal O. Godwin respectively, unanimously appreciated the MTC under the rulership of Oba Ibeun for the smooth process of installing their king, they promise to work with the Olowu to ensure the peace and development of Owu Ayinaku and Mopa generally.
