In his sermon with the theme: The Reason of Thanksgiving, Pastor Emmanuel Olorunda said it is one of the pillars of the Christian faith to give thanks as exemplified by the Lord Jesus Christ in the book St John 4:13.

Reflecting on Oba Ibeun’s commitment to faith and spiritual guidance, he decided to embark on the Praise and Thanksgiving night program to return all glory to God, who made it possible to witness his first anniversary.

He urged everyone to embrace the attitude of thanksgiving like the monarch to get more from God, even though he is a king, he realized that God is still the King of Kings.

The Praise Night celebration showcased the community’s unity and support for Oba Ibeun’s reign, highlighting their expectations for continued development and growth under his leadership.

The event continues today, where dignitaries like the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Usman Ododo, former Governor Yahaya Bello, the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja the second, and others from all walks of life will grace the elaborate event.

The Secretary to the Kogi State Government, Mrs Folashade Arike Ayoade, will be honored as the Yeye Oba of Mopa, while Mrs Omotowa Abimbola Oyefeso, as the Yeye Obaluwa, King Wasu Ayinde Marshal, will thrill the guests with his fuji Music in Mopa, Kogi State.
