Oba Tolorunleke Commends Governor Ododo on his consolidation agenda
His Royal Highness, Oba Tolorunleke Matthew, the Obagbayi of Oweland has commended Governor Usman Ododo on his consolidation agenda which has engendered smooth completion of many projects with new ones springing up across the three Senatorial districts of the state.
He gave the commendation yesterday at the Youth Annual Harvest Festival of St Andrew Cathedral, Kabba diocese as the Chairman of the harvest, describing the Governor as God-sent who will take the state to another level of development.
He also used the opportunity to acknowledge and appreciate the former Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello whose administration recognized him as a third class Chief in the state with the support of the current Accountant General of the State, Dr Habiba Onumoko.
He urged the people to continue to support and cooperate with the current administration to bring more goodies to the people.
He also eulogized the Obajemu of Oweland, HRM Oba Michael Ibinaiye, Obadofin Designate, Chief Julius Arokoyo, Okemeta Council of Chiefs led by the Chairman, Chief Adegboyega Aka and other notable personalities who graced the occasion with him, describing them as the pride of the community whose support are monumental.
He also used the occasion to congratulate the Ololu Obajemu of Oweland, HRM Michael Ibinaiye and other Chiefs like him who became title chiefs alongside the Obajemu in 2006, making it 18 years since that memorable day. He prayed that they will witness more years in good health and prosperity.
