OBYGI Honors Kogi Finance Commissioner, Asiwaju Idris Asiru With Award of Excellence

The Ododo Bassa Youths Grassroots Initiative (OBYGI) has conferred an Award of Excellence on the Kogi State Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Hon. Chief Asiwaju Idris Asiru in recognition of his philanthropic gestures and selfless service to humanity.
The presentation was made during a ceremony organized by OBYGI to celebrate individuals who have contributed meaningfully to the development of Kogi State and the welfare of its people.

According to the group, the award to Hon. Asiru was in appreciation of his commitment to grassroots empowerment, human capital development, and his support for policies that promote economic growth in the state.
Speaking at the event, the Coordinator of OBYGI, Comrade Victor MD Kpanaki, said the commissioner’s track record of service and generosity made him a deserving recipient of the honor.
Comrade Kpanaki added that the award was dedicated to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, whom the group described as the _“Chief Servant of Kogi State”_ for his outstanding leadership qualities and commitment to the welfare of the people.
“The award to Hon. Asiwaju Idris Asiru is also dedicated to His Excellency, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his visionary leadership that is inspiring youths and stakeholders across the state to contribute to nation-building,” Kpanaki stated.
Members of OBYGI pledged to continue mobilizing grassroots support for the Ododo-led administration and to promote initiatives that foster unity, peace, and development in Kogi State.
