ODA Congratulates Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan on Appointment as INEC Chairman

The Okun Development Association (ODA) extends its warmest congratulations to Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) on his appointment as the new Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). This prestigious appointment is a testament to his exceptional academic credentials, unimpeachable integrity, and dedication to democratic principles.

The ODA commends President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for nominating Professor Amupitan to lead INEC, a decision that underscores the President’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s electoral process. We are confident that Professor Amupitan’s leadership will further enhance INEC’s independence, credibility, and capacity to deliver free, fair, and transparent elections.

Recall that Prof. Amupitan had selflessly served Okunland as a member of the eminent persons in the quest for creation of Okun State. Okun Nation wishes to express special gratitude to His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding our compatriots worthy of appointments in several critical sectors of his government.
