Odo Eri Community Appreciates Rep Leke Abejide for ₦10m Donation to Community Development

The people of Odo Eri Community in Yagba Federal Constituency have expressed profound gratitude to Elder Leke Abejide, member representing Yagba Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, for donating Ten Million Naira (₦10,000,000) toward community development.

In a letter of appreciation signed by Chief Owoyemi on behalf of the community, Odo Eri residents commended the lawmaker for honoring his pledge promptly after presenting the cheque last month.

“Your fulfillment of this pledge through the presentation of the cheque is a demonstration of your commitment to grassroots development and your unwavering concern for the welfare of your constituents,” the letter stated.

The community noted that while some viewed the initial cheque presentation as symbolic, Hon. Abejide’s swift action in cashing it has reinforced his reputation as “a representative whose words are matched by deeds.”

According to the letter, the ₦10m intervention will address key developmental needs in Odo Eri and improve the lives of residents. The community said the gesture has brought “renewed hope and confidence” in Abejide’s purposeful representation.

“We deeply appreciate your kindness and commitment to the progress of Yagba land. We pray that God Almighty will continue to bless you with good health, wisdom, strength, and greater opportunities to serve humanity,” Chief Owoyemi wrote.

Hon. Leke Abejide has been recognized in Yagba for constituency projects ranging from infrastructure to empowerment programs since his election to the House of Representatives.
