ODODO CAMPUS AMBASSADORS INAUGURATION: A formal platform for Participation of largest voting demography in elections and most active in governance of Kogi State… Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi

The Special Adviser to the Governor of Kogi State on Civil Service and Labour Matters and Director General of the ODODO MANDATE GROUP, a pro Ododo gubernatorial project campaign, policy formulation, voters mobilization and strategy development group for the November 11th gubernatorial election for the ruling All Progressives Congress, Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi have described the recently inaugurated Ododo Campus Ambassadors as a strong voter mobilization and awareness creation platform for the largest voting demography in the state, which is the students/Youths.

Omoluabi who made this statement while delivering his speech at the inauguration of the Campus Ambassadors for the Kogi State College of Education, Technical, Kabba on Thursday also said this brilliant idea will give the incoming administration under, Alh Ododo Ahmed Usman the political will, governmental audacity and administrative impetus to implement students/Youth inclusive leadership and governance as an institutional improvement on the unprecedented achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello in area of educational, students and youth development as a means of engaging young people in preparation for a life of prosperity and fulfilment.

Earlier in her speech, the KCOTECH Campus Coordinator who double as the Students Union Government Vice President of the Institution, Comrade Eseyin says the students body are grateful to Governor Yahaya Bello over what she described as unprecedented educational development under his new direction administration in the last seven years plus, Comrade Eseyin says only a Government with special place for students could embark on such far reaching reforms that have made Kogi educational institutions attractive to non Kogites across Nigeria. Comrade Eseyin said the students are ready and prepared to begin campus based and Community to community awareness for the Ododo Ahmed governorship election in November. On his part, the Kogi West Senatorial District Coordinator of the Ododo Campus Ambassadors, Chief Ayodele Alemayo says the students Community are totally in sync with the political aspiration and educational development blueprint on the APC led administration in Kogi state.

Earlier in her welcome address, the Provost of the Institution, Dr Victor Jagboro commended the GYB led Government for her different reforms and interventions that have sustained academic activities in the school. Mrs Jagboro thereafter appealed to the state government for the upgrade of the Kogi State College of Education, Technical into a full fledged university in view of the desire of government to have a new university in Okunland, stating that the availability of infrastructure, conducive academic environment and existing academic activities on the school are compelling advantage the institution has in location of the new university in the school. She reminded the crowd that no higher institutions in Kogi state started on a virgin ground but all are offshoots of existing school in all their locations before now. She assured that the newly inaugurated campus ambassadors would mobilize voters and create unprecedented awareness ahead of the November 11th election.

While inaugurating the Ambassadors, Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Hon Wemi Jones says the foundation of what began today have become an history making event and that the students who form the basis for the program are heroes and heroines the Ododo administration would never forget in view of the assignment ahead of them, he assured them that they shall not he forgotten when Government eventually start. The Commissioner charged the students to be strong ambassadors that will midwife the manifestation of Ododo and APC Gubernatorial project for 2023 election. He assured the students and management of the institution of the continued support of the new direction administration for the betterment of the institution. Highpoint of the event was the decoration of the Provost as a member of the Board of trustees of the group and inauguration of one hundred newly recruited ODODO CAMPUS AMBASSADORS.
