Ododo Progressive Movement Meets with APC Stakeholders in Okedayo Ward, galvanize support for Ododo/Joel

Ahead of the November 11 Governorship election in Kogi state, a prominent support group for Ododo/Joel 2023, Ododo Progressive Movement (OPM) has met with critical stakeholders in Okedayo Ward, Kabba-Bunu local government area of the State to brainstorm on the way forward to woo more prospective voters in favour of the APC governorship candidate.

Speaking at the meeting held in Kabba yesterday, the Convener of the group, Engr. Solomon Kayode said it has become imperative for the group to reach out to the grassroots to galvanize support for the APC and also let them know the importance of voting APC as a party, stressing that this group intends to go beyond social media campaigns by having an interface with the real voters at the unit and ward levels, as this will enhance the acceptability of the party and its candidate when the election comes

He appealed to all stakeholders to remain steadfast and committed to the success of the party as that is the only way dividends of democracy can go round when the party forms the government at the state level again.

He pointed out that Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman possesses the cognate experience and expertise to consolidate on the achievements of the current administration in the state.

He noted that with the landmark achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello especially in the areas of security, education, health etc, the election will be an easy ride, pointing out that the administration has written it’s name in gold.

The Director General of Okun United for Ododo/Joel, Barrister Alfred Bello was on ground at the meeting as a sign of synergy that exists between all the support groups working for the overall success of the party.

He commended the Convener, Engr. Solomon Kayode for his tenacity on preaching the gospel of the party’s candidate across the state through all mediums available.

He said the people of Okunland, Okedayo Ward inclusive have nothing to fear in giving their maximum support and cooperation to the APC in the forthcoming Governorship election, stressing that only the newly established state owned university sited in Kabba is more than enough to vote en-mass for the party.

Barrister Bello appealed to all and sundry to join hands with the APC in the area to deliver overwhelming votes to Ododo/Joel governorship ticket and noted that APC remains a formidable platform that guarantees the needed development in Okunland, as when the university is fully operational, the benefits will be enormous.

Highlight of the meeting was the agreement to collectively work for the success of the party in the election.

Those who attended included the Ward Party Chairman, Secretary and other critical stakeholders.
