ODODO SUPPORT ORGANISATION, OSO CONGRATULATES GOVERNOR-ELECT, AHMED USMAN ODODO; APPRECIATE GOVERNOR BELLO, KOGI VOTERS, OSO MEMBERS FOR UNWAVERING SUPPORT

The Director General of the Ododo Support Organisation, OSO, Engr. Suleiman Aminu Adaira (PhD) has, on behalf of the organisation congratulates the Principal of the Organisation and Governor-Elect, HE Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor-elect, HE Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo on their victory in the last Saturday Gubernatorial Election in the state.

In a message signed by the Director General and made available to reporters today in Lokoja, the DG said: “I would like to send a resounding congratulation to our principal, the Governor-Elect, HE Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo and Deputy Governor-Elect, HE Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo and to all of us who saw this victory far away and incorporated in the vision”.

Engr. Adaira said he was particularly delighted to congratulate the party’s leader in the state, in person of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello for championing the party to a resounding victory recorded in the poll, describing the victory as a true reflection of the will of the good people of Kogi State.

In his words: “I am equally on behalf of the Conveners of OSO: Engr. Ilias Audu & Alhaji Nazir Yusuf Ochi, and all the members of the Support Organisation congratulate our leader and mentor, the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello on this resounding victory. This is indeed a victory for the good people of Kogi State and for all of us in the party”.

While equally appreciating the contributions of party faithful and members of the Support Organisation, Engr. Adaira adds: “I would specially want to appreciate the men and women of valour in the Organisation, party faithful, and all Kogites across divides that defer great odds and worked tirelessly towards the emergence of our Principal. Your commitment and steadfastness towards the actualization of this mandate is truly remarkable. This victory shall indeed mark the beginning of a greater Kogi State by the Grace of God”.

The Director General uses the opportunity to appeal to other contestants in the election and all the good people of Kogi State to support and pray for the incoming administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, while expressing great hopes that the administration shall consolidate on the remarkable achievements of Governor Yahaya Adoza Bello and ensure more democratic gains across the nooks and crannies of the State.

“Now that the election is over, I would like to appeal to all those who contested against our principal in the last concluded election to show sportsmanship and join the incoming administration in its bid to uniting our people and developing a state that we all can be proud of – indeed, no victor, no vanquish”.

Engr. Adaira prayed for divine health and wisdom for the Governor-Elect as he prepares to step into administering the state: “It is our fervent prayer that Almighty God will strengthen the Governor-Elect in good health and wisdom to lead the affairs of Kogi State to great heights. Amen”.
