ODODO’S COMMITMENT TO SECURITY DESERVES COMMENDATION — AJILEYE
The Managing Director of Ekinrin-Adde Community Radio (Akogba FM), Pastor Stanley Ajileye, has commended Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for what he described as the administration’s sustained commitment to protecting lives and property across the state.
Ajileye said the governor’s recent acquisition of armoured vehicles and other security equipment has demonstrated a determination to strengthen the capacity of security agencies in combating banditry and other violent crimes.
He noted that the successful foiling of attacks on Ikoyi Community in Ijumu Local Government Area and Iluke in Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area reflects the effectiveness of the government’s proactive security measures.
The community radio chief also applauded Governor Ododo’s prompt visit to families affected by the Iluke attack, describing the gesture as evidence of compassionate leadership.
“His Excellency’s decision to personally condole with the bereaved families showed that he shares in the pains of the people. That singular act has earned him the respect and admiration of many of us,” Ajileye stated.
According to him, the governor’s actions have strengthened public confidence in the government’s ability to address security challenges confronting the state.
Ajileye expressed hope that Governor Ododo would continue to record successes in the fight against insecurity and prayed that God would grant him the wisdom, courage, and strength required to restore lasting peace throughout Kogi State.
He also called on residents to support the efforts of the government and security agencies by remaining vigilant and providing useful information that could help prevent criminal activities.
