Ododo’s Media Aide Fetes Ex-NYSC Members, Pledges Support

Special Adviser on Media to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Hon. Ismaila Isah, has hosted a send-forth ceremony in honour of outgoing members of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) who served at the Government House Media Centre.

The event, which took place at the Media Centre was organised to appreciate the corps members for their commitment, discipline, and contributions to the communication efforts of the present administration.

Addressing the outgoing corps members, Hon. Ismaila Isah, lauded their dedication to duty and expressed confidence in their ability to excel in future endeavours.

He noted that the Government House Media Centre had benefitted from their services in content development, research and media coordination during their service year.

“This office has become a place of learning and growth. We don’t just pass corps members through the system, we expose them to real-time responsibilities that sharpen their skills and build their confidence,” he said.

The Media Adviser went further to reassure the outgoing corps members of the administration’s readiness to support young talents who have demonstrated competence and exemplary professionalism.

He pledged to keep the window of employment open for corps members who have proven their capacity and shown interest in continuing to support the team.

“It is not in our character to let good hands go, where dedication meets discipline, opportunities are never far away. We will continue to support corps members who have made themselves valuable to the system”, he restated.

Among the four corps members, Roland Bayode, was singled out for commendation following his decision to remain as a volunteer at the Media Centre upon completion of his service year.

Hon. Isah described his commitment as exemplary and encouraged others to uphold the values of hard work and loyalty.

The ceremony featured goodwill messages by team members, light refreshments, and presentation of gifts, marking a memorable conclusion to a productive service year by the corp members.
