“Senator Umahi, known affectionately as the “Working Minister of Works,” is a beacon of exceptional leadership and dedication to the advancement of the Southeast region and Nigeria as a whole.

“Senator Dave Umahi, a true servant leader of the Southeast, has been a shining example of humility and dedication, rising from a humble background to become not only a certified engineer but also a party leader and builder of the youth.

“His devout Christian faith and unwavering commitment to the service of the people have endeared him to many, earning him the title of the gift of the Southeast to President Tinubu and Nigeria.

“Ohanaeze Ndigbo proudly recognizes Senator Umahi as the new rallying point for the Igbo nation, following the footsteps of our departed legends such as Dim Odimegwu Chukwuemeka Ojukwu, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, Dr. Michael Okpara, Rt. Hon. Dr. Francis Akanu Ibiam, Dr. Sam Mbakwe, and Dr. C.C Onoh. Senator Umahi’s tenure as the former Governor of Ebonyi State saw a remarkable transformation of the state from the least developed to a vibrant and economically viable entity.

“As the current Minister of Works, Senator Umahi has continued to demonstrate his humility and professionalism in delivering his duties with diligence and excellence. His innovative approach to infrastructure development, particularly in the utilization of cement technology, has been lauded by Ndigbo and all Nigerians alike, Ohanaeze Ndigbo said

The body reiterated that Umahi remains a pivotal figure in garnering the support of the Southeast for President Bola Tinubu.

According to them: “our beloved leader in whom the people of the Southeast are well pleased. We recognize and appreciate Senator Umahi’s dedication to the advancement of the Southeast and Nigeria at large, and we pray for God’s continued guidance and protection upon him and his family in all their endeavors.
