OKE-OFFIN YOUTHS PAID A FAMILIARIZATION VISIT TO JERRY OMODARA
….Pledged support for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman
Kogi State Security Adviser, Navy Commander Jerry Omodara (Rtd), played host to some key Oke-Offin Youths at his country home; Oke-Offin Bunu.
Speaking during the visit, the leader of the delegation saids the visit was initiated and birthed during the monthly Youth meeting, where the decision was reached to come appreciate Cdr. Omodara for placing Oke-Offin sons and daughters in strategic positions in the Kogi State Gubernatorial Campaign Council both at local government and state level, and also for his effort in ensuring that the stool of Oluwoa of Oke-Offin is being upgraded to a second-class stool.
Not limited to that, the visit was also to appreciate him (Cdr. Jerry Omodara) for giving-out scholarship to three (3) indigent students of Oke-Offin origin to study Electrical installation at the Nigeria-Korea Friendship Institute, Lokoja and also for his efforts in facilitating the ongoing 10 lockup stalls at the Community market in Oke-Offin Bunu.
Speaking further, Mr Sunday Dada who was also part of the delegation, passed a vote of confidence on the personality of Commander Jerry Omodara, described him as a lifter of hope and a patriotic leader.
Also, Mr Mathew Lawal who’s a strong supporter of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) was formally received to the APC by Commander Omodara, as the whole youths unanimously pledged their unalloyed support and loyalty for the ruling All Progressives Congress, noting that they will vote resoundingly for Alhaji Ododo Ahmed Usman in the forthcoming Kogi gubernatorial election.
Commander Omodara in his remarks, expressed gratitude to the Team for their visit. He stated that he’s overwhelmed with by the visit and also reiterated his commitment for community and human capital development for the people of Oke-Offin, Bunu and Kogi State at large.
Omodara admonished them to be of good behavior and to be law abiding before, during and after the election. He reiterated the Kogi State Government’s unwavering commitment to continue to engage the critical stakeholders in Election Security Management to ensure a secure environment for electoral process.
