Kogi State has been agog with concerns regarding who will be able to move each Local Government forward as the State prepares to go for its next Local Government election.
In Okehi Local Government, there is one name that has been on the lips of the people across almost all the wards. According to the people, that name is the best man for the job of moving Okehi forward. He is none other than Engr. Makun Peter fondly and popularly known as “Kudos”.
Engr. Makun Peter is a silent achiever. In his private life, he has achieved more with less. He is a resource manager who is skilled in the effective management of people and resources.
He is a philanthropist. He has impacted a lot of neighbourhoods and communities in Okehi Local Government.
He is a leader. He has led from the front many times. He has stood for the interest of the people of Okehi and in many of such instances he has won for Okehi what Okehi deserves. He is Okehi by mindset and by everything that can be used to describe the type of passion a person will have for the betterment of his or her own people.
