Okun Development Initiatives Decorates Alh Yahaya Bello Ahead of Unity Summit
In a gesture of unity and goodwill, the Executive of the Okun Development Initiatives, led by Deacon Olusuyi Otitoju, visited and decorated Alh Yahaya Bello, OON. The event, held recently, served as a prelude to the much-anticipated Okun Unity Summit scheduled for later this year.
The delegation included Mr. Ben Owoleke, Mrs. Elizabeth Atte, Mrs. Roseline Foluke Adeyemi, and Apostle Olalekan Aiyenigba, who serves as the General Secretary of the Okun Development Initiative.
During the meeting, Alhaji Yahaya Bello expressed his elation with the upcoming summit. He emphasized his strong belief in the importance of unity, not only among the Okun people but for all Kogites, stating that it is the sure path to peaceful coexistence and development.
The meeting was facilitated by Asiwaju Asiru Idris, FCA, Kogi State Commissioner for Finance and Economic Planning and the Co-Chairman of the 2nd Okun Summit 2025. Asiwaju Idris has been playing an awesome role across the board in ensuring the success of the summit. The details of the summit and its agenda are expected to be released soon.
