Okun League of Progressive Elites Commends Governor Ododo for Fashagba’s Appointment
The Director General of the Okun League of Progressive Elites (OLOPE), Barr Alfred Bello, has expressed gratitude to Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for appointing Dr. Paul Femi Fashagba as the Provost of Kogi State College of Education, Ankpa. Bello described Fashagba as a “shining star” and the ideal candidate for the position during a courtesy visit to Fashagba’s office.
Bello outlined the primary mission of OLOPE, which is to mobilize Okun citizens, both at home and abroad, in support of the group’s objectives. A key goal is to ensure the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and Governor Ododo, emphasizing that no effort will be spared in achieving this aim.
Dr. Fashagba expressed delight over OLOPE’s mission and reaffirmed his commitment to good governance. He praised President Tinubu and Governor Ododo for their demonstrated capacity in human and capital development, asserting that their continuity in office beyond 2027 is justified. During the meeting, Fashagba was decorated as an ambassador of OLOPE by the group’s Secretary, Hon. Philip Orebiyi. Orebiyi encouraged Fashagba to continue making Okun proud through his work.
