OKUN RADIO NETWORK HONOURS DR. RAPH AROKOYO WITH ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND SERVICE EXCELLENCE AWARD

Akin Fanodun – Kabba

The management of Okun Radio Network has proudly presented a triple award to Dr. Raph Arokoyo, the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer of Maktot Fueling Station, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to business development and community service. He was honored with the Best Entrepreneurship Award, Best Fueling Station Award, and Accurate Pump Price Award.

This recognition did not come by chance. Over time, Dr. Arokoyo has consistently distinguished himself by selling fuel at the lowest and most affordable pump price across his outlets. This uncommon practice, in an era when many fueling stations inflate prices or manipulate pumps, has earned him the trust, respect, and admiration of residents within Kabba, across Okun land, and beyond.

Community members testified that Maktot Fueling Station has remained a shining example of integrity in business, honesty in service, and compassion towards humanity. By ensuring that every liter dispensed is accurate, Dr. Arokoyo has proven that business can thrive alongside fairness and social responsibility.

In his remarks after receiving the award, Dr. Arokoyo expressed profound gratitude to the organizers, dedicating the award to the people who patronize and believe in his vision. He noted that his approach to business is anchored on the belief that entrepreneurship should be a tool for uplifting people, reducing hardship, and contributing to sustainable development.

> “I am not just in business for profit. I am in business to make life easier for my people and to support community growth. My commitment is to Kabba, to Kogi State, and to Nigeria as a whole. By God’s grace, we will continue to expand and bring more opportunities that will impact lives positively,” Dr. Arokoyo stated.

The Okun Radio Network described the award as a call for other entrepreneurs to emulate Dr. Arokoyo’s model of service-driven entrepreneurship. According to them, true success in business is measured not only by wealth accumulation but also by the ability to make a positive difference in the lives of others.

This recognition has placed Maktot Fueling Station as a reference point in the oil and gas sector within Kogi State and has further highlighted the importance of integrity, fairness, and affordability in business operations.
