Okun Radio Network Passes Vote of Confidence on Ijumu LGA Chairman, Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna DSTV

The Management and Stakeholders of Okun Radio Network, led by the Initiator of the platform, have unanimously passed a Vote of Confidence on the Executive Chairman of Ijumu Local Government Area, Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna DSTV, in recognition of his purposeful leadership, visible development strides, and unrelenting commitment to the welfare and security of the people.

After a careful evaluation of his performance since assumption of office, the leadership of the Radio Network noted that Hon. Haruna has shown uncommon dedication to grassroots governance and has remained faithful to the promises he made during his campaign.

Key areas of outstanding performance include:

Security and Public Safety:
Under his administration, the safety of lives and property across Ijumu LGA has significantly improved. With the deployment of well-trained and visibly active task force operatives in every part of the Local Government, citizens now enjoy better protection and swift response to threats.

Improved Internally Generated Revenue (IGR):
The Chairman has strengthened the local economy by increasing the IGR of the LGA through transparent systems and better engagement with local stakeholders without placing extra burden on the people.

Infrastructural Development:
Despite limited financial resources, Hon. Haruna has carried out several infrastructural projects that directly benefit the people. His ability to do more with less stands him out as a visionary and practical leader.

Support for Education and the Less Privileged:
He has remained a passionate advocate for student welfare, education support, and care for the vulnerable in society. His regular outreach and humanitarian efforts have made positive impacts on many lives.

According to the statement from Okun Radio Network, “Hon. Alhaji Ibrahim Haruna DSTV is not just administering the local government from his office he is actively leading from the front, even in the most difficult terrains. His courage, commitment, and performance are commendable and worthy of public recognition.”

The Network, on behalf of its members and listeners across Okunland, urges the Chairman to remain focused and consistent in delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Ijumu. The vote of confidence stands as a clear endorsement of his leadership and a call for continued service to the people.
