Okun United for Ododo/Joel support group heartly wish to rejoice with and welcome the former Deputy Governor of Kogi State and frontline politician, HE Arc. Yomi Awoniyi into the fold of the progressive family of the ruling All Progressives Congress, stressing that he has made the right decision in the interest of his people.
This was disclosed in a press statement signed by the Director General of the group, Barrister Alfred Bello and made available to newsmen in Lokoja describing his decision to join the winning team as commendable.
He said the group is glad to welcome him on board as their meeting with him a few weeks ago has yielded the desired results for him to join the APC for him to add value to the party.
He noted that he will not regret joining the party at this critical time, stressing that APC is a party that treats all members equally irrespective of the time you join, pointing out that he is sure of his pedigree and capacity to deliver come November 11 governorship election.
