Omala Lawmaker lauds Gov. Ododo over construction of Abejukolo road

The Lawmaker representing Omala State Constituency Hon Umar Yahaya has commended Kogi State Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo for commencing the construction of Abejukolo road.

Speaking during the house plenary on Tuesday, Hon. Yahaya appreciated Governor Ododo for matching his motion last week Tuesday for the construction of the road with action adding that it will help improve the social economic activities of his Local Government.

He explained that over the years, the road has been in bad state which has stagnated the development of the area.

The Lawmaker stated that Governor Ododo’s commitment towards the execution of various projects is unprecedented stressing that, since his assumption of office, Kogi State is wearing a new look.

“Mr Speaker, and my distinguished colleagues, I would recall that last week Tuesday, I moved a motion for the construction of Abejukolo road at this hallow chamber. To my greatest dismay, I got a call from his excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo concerning the road project. As I speak to you, work has commenced in that road.

” My constituent are indeed grateful to our amiable and listening Governor for the construction of the road project. This will further bring development to Omala Local Government”.

The highly elated lawmaker promised that the people of Omala Local Government will continued to support the administration of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for it to succeed in Kogi State.
