In a landmark gesture signaling a deepening of political and communal solidarity, Hon. Onoriode Agofure, Delta State Commissioner of Transport, today hosted Chief Ese Arigo, the National Chairman of Urhobo Ex‑Militants and Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Security , alongside key executive members, during their solidarity /official courtesy visit to him at Asaba.
The cordial event, marked by warm reception and frank dialogue, set the tone for what promises to be burgeoning collaboration between the administration of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori and Urhobo ex-militant stakeholders.
Hon Chief Ese Chief Arigo, Chairman Urhobo Ex-Millitants Forum opened the meeting by lauding the Commissioner’s transformative leadership, specifically honoring his vision and his approach in rebranding Delta State’s transport infrastructure.
Arigo emphasized that, the Commissioner was not merely a recipient of plaudits but an active partner of the Renewed Hope for MORE Agenda.. While pledging total support for the MORE AGENDA of Governor Sheriff Oborevwori Arigo stressed that Hon Onoriode Agofure is the best transport Commissioner the state have ever produced .
