PRE-ANNIVERSARY TOUR
In preparation for this celebration, His Majesty, from his palace at Orerokpe, has been conducting a kingdom-wide familiarization tour to Amukpe, Aragba, Aghalokpe, Ugborhen, Ozue, Elume, Sapele, Ugolo and Emereje districts to interact with his subjects and hear their challenges in person
During that tour, the Orodje reiterated his fatherly charge: that our people should stop the indiscriminate sale of ancestral lands and embrace leasing, and shun hard drugs, to secure the future of Okpe land.
The newly conferred Ekakuro and Ehowore are scheduled to pay homage to the monarch on Tuesday, November 24, while the Four Ruling Houses and other groups will pay homage on Wednesday, November 25.
The programme is signed by Chief Michael Affe, JP, and Chief Akpobecha O. Napoleon.
