Osun First Lady Emerges Most Outstanding in Education Development

The First Lady of Osun State, Chief (Mrs.) Titilola Adeleke, has been recognized as the most outstanding wife of a governor in education development in the Southwest zone of Nigeria.
This recognition is based on an opinion poll conducted by Democracy Newsline Newspaper’s team of experts.

Chief (Mrs.) Adeleke’s commitment to improving education in Osun State through her intervention programs and projects has earned her this distinction.
According to him, her initiatives, which include prioritizing education through organizing inter-secondary quiz and debate competitions for schools in Osun State and supporting women’s and girls’ education, have been cited as reasons for her recognition.
The award will be presented to Chief (Mrs.) Adeleke on August 26, 2025, at the 15th Edition of the Democracy Newsline Public Lecture and Award Ceremony, themed “Promoting Participatory Democracy and Good Governance in Nigeria.”
The event will take place at the Banquet Hall of the National Merit House, Maitama, Abuja, with the Red Carpet event starting at 5 pm, followed by the Main Event at 6 pm, and concluding with a dinner program
This recognition highlights Chief (Mrs.) Adeleke’s dedication to education development in Osun State.
