Just In: Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi, Somi Edunmare Resigns From PDP

Otunba Olayemi Adeniyi, popularly known as Somi Edunmare, has resigned his membership of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Otunba Adeniyi a former Kogi West Senatorial District Aspirant in the 2023 Party’s Primary’s in a statement made available to DemocracyNewsline, said he is no longer comfortable with the way and manner the leadership of the party are handling issues as it’s relate to the internal democracy mechanism.

The Statement did not State his next line of action, as the maverick politician says he is still consulting, however thanked his numerous supporters for believing in him.

However, his resignation may not be unconnected with the meeting he held with Governor Yahaya Bello during the week in Lokoja.

The letter was copied the former Governor, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, the leader of Kabba Bunu PDP, Ward Chairman and other relevant stakeholders of the PDP in the local Government.
