The aspiring PDP gubernatorial candidate who is a cultural ambassador and proud Ibadan son, holds two distinguished chieftancy titles: Aare Akinrogun of Igbo-Elerinland and Asiwaju Ilu of Olosunde Village and environs, covering over 300 villages and towns,whose dedication to tradition and development was further recognized with confirmation by His Imperial Majesty, the late Olunadan of Ibadanland, Oba (Dr) Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, the Ige Olakulehin 1.
Hon. Segelu is the Founder and CEO of Y’ Seg Group, which includes Y’Seg Hotels and Suites Limited – a hospitality brand that blends business with social impact.
His experience spans the National Assembly,where he served as a legislative aide, and across diverse sectors including public service, project leadership, cyber security,logistics, IT, and hospitality.
Chief Segelu, born on August 4,1982, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Abuja , diplomas in Geology from the Polytechnic,Ibadan, and Computer Engineering from the Information Technology Institute.
Segelu commitment to lifelong learning has led him to pursue certifications in Data Analysis, Certified Ethical Hacking, Logistics, and Web Development, with training from institutions in Germany, India, and Nigeria.
Lagelu stands tall among his peers as his proven record is second to none. He has the capacity to transform Oyo State to enviable heights and dream of every Oyo state indigene.
2027 is the year for every Oyo State indigene to decide who wear the leadership cap. It is non-negotiable, the cap fits only one person in Chief Olayinka Lagelu.
