He made this statement on Sunday while commending the security agencies, government and Oyo state Governor, Engr Seyi Makinde for handling the issue with all sincerity, maturity and attention it deserved.

While appealing to President Tinubu for a more wholistic decision to release other abducted victims across the country, he enjoined security agencies to redouble efforts towards rescuing all the abducted victims held in all parts of the country.

Senator Onawo commiserated with the family of those who lost their lives during the incarceration and operation to rescue , particularly the teachers and the security agencies who died during the rescue.

In that vein , he wished the abducted children and teachers quick recovery, so as to reunite them with their loved ones , urging government at all levels to also ensure the victims are adequately compensated.

Senator Onawo congratulated the APM National Chairman and the family for the security breakthrough, urging the party to continue to play the main opposition roles conscientiously.
