Paradigm Initiative To Host Stakeholders Conference Today

Paradigm Initiative will host a conference on the 3rd of April to bring together diverse stakeholders. The seminar under the organisation’s Digital Policy Engagement Series (DiPES) will see delegates examine, review and hold discussions focused on critical legislative documents, namely the Digital Rights and Freedoms Bill (DRFB)
As a significant contributor in influencing the change of policy and laws, PIN seeks to utilise this platform to create a coordinated and influential push towards digital rights and freedoms and freedom of expression while advocating for the incorporation of international human rights standards in Nigeria’s cybercrimes, telecoms laws and policies.
The conference would be looking to increase awareness about the Digital Rights and Freedoms Bill amongst other things.
The event would start at 9am and expects to host senior representatives from the Legislative, the National human rights commission of Nigeria and other renowned national and international organisations.
There would would be a media parley immidiately after the event.
