Comrade Kingsley Ikiere, in his heartfelt message, highlighted the profound contributions of Bigborogha II, noting that the monarch’s leadership and vision promoted development and unity within Ngbilebiri Kingdom and beyond to a very great measure.

The media has been awash with tributes and publications, each recounting the positive impacts Bigborogha II had on his kingdom and the wider Delta State community. These narratives serve as a testament to his enduring legacy and the respect he commanded as a royal father and leader before his passage to join his ancestors.

Comrade Kingsley Ikiere, the Ijaw HOSTCOM Chair, particularly commiserated with the children of Bigborogha II, especially Prince Christopher Perekeme, Prince Peresuode Perekeme, Princess Chief Beauty Perekeme, an advisor of HOSTCOM Ijaw ethnic nationality chapter, and the rest of their siblings.

The Ijaw HOSTCOM Chair acknowledged Princess Chief Beauty Perekeme’s unwavering support and dedication to the cause of HOSTCOM, mirroring the values and principles her late father championed while on the revered throne of Ngbilebiri Kingdom.

Still eulogizing the sterling leadership qualities of the departed Royal Father, Comrade Ikiere said: “The sweet memories of Bigborogha II will forever remain fresh in our hearts. The lasting impact of the late royal father’s life and reign was indeed the golden era of the Ngbilebiri Kingdom.”

The final passage rites will not only be a period of mourning but also a time to celebrate the rich legacy and the indelible mark Bigborogha II left on Delta State. As the kingdom comes together to honor Bigborogha II, his memory will undoubtedly continue to inspire and guide the people of Ngbilebiri Kingdom and Delta State for generations to come.
