As the collation of the Plateau state Governorship Results Continues today, Hundreds of the People’s Democratic Supporters, stormed INEC office with Placards with different inscriptions,Posters of the Party’s Governorship Candidate, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang and chanting various songs.
Speaking with our Correspondent on their mission at the INEC office,One of the Supporters,Hon. Monday Ajiya, who is the former Secretary of Jos East LGA said we came here since 2Am this morning to celebrate in advance the victory of His Excellency, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang who will soon be declared winner of the Election by the Independent National Electoral Commission because, base on the results uploaded on the INEC Portal our Candidate is leading with over 43000 votes and we don’t want INEC to change the result and we don’t have much confident on them and we will remain here untill the result is announced.
If you can recalled, the Independent National Electoral Commission adjourned the collation of the Governorship Results in the State to Monday by 10AM Having Collated 13 out of the 17th local governments. The Local Governments that remain are Jos North,Bokkos,Quan’Pan and Jos South LGAs.
The Results announced so far shows that the Candidates of APC Dr. Nentawe Yilwada are in a tight race with Barrister Caleb Mutfwang of People’s Democratic party.
