PDP Youth Leader, Olukayode Eseyin Commends President Tinubu on Appointment of Prof Amupitan as INEC Chairman
Lokoja – The People’s Democratic Party (PDP) Youth Leader in Kogi State, Hon Prince Oluwakayode Emmanuel Eseyin, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for appointing Professor Joash Ojo Amupitan, SAN, as Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a statement, Eseyin described the appointment as a testament to President Tinubu’s commitment to excellence, merit, and national balance, noting Prof Amupitan’s distinguished career, integrity, and understanding of the law will usher in a new era of electoral transparency and fairness.
Eseyin charged Prof Amupitan to build on previous reforms, ensuring future elections reflect the people’s will.

He urged political actors, youth groups, and civil society organizations to support the new INEC leadership in strengthening Nigeria’s democracy.
Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo also commended President Tinubu on the appointment, highlighting Prof Amupitan’s credentials as a proud son of Okun land in Kogi State.
