Pere Bigborogha 11 Laid to Rest in a Grand Ceremony at Kiagbodo as Senator Agwariavwodo Represents Governor Oborevwori

His Royal Majesty , Bigborogha 11 ( JP ) Remil S H Perekeme , Pere of Ngbilebiri Mein kingdom, was finally laid to rest Saturday , 18th August 2024 .
The grandiose and solemn ceremony which was held at Kiagbodo Town ,the traditional headquarters of Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State Witnessed the esteemed presence of numerous dignitaries, including members of the Delta State Executive Council, With Senator Emmanuel Agwariavwodo ,Representing
His Excellency, RT Hon Sheriff Oborevwori , the Governor of Delta State.
Senator Agwariavwodo, who conveyed the goodwill message of the Governor in his speech paid glowing tribute to the revered Monarch Pere Bigborogha 11 for his immersed contributions to the
development of his kingdom, the traditional institutions in Delta State and beyond.
Agwariavwodo, the Governor Rep. who described the late Pere as an epitome of peace remarked that the final passage rite which is more like a carnival was indeed a fitting farewell, to honor the legacy and ever green memory of late Pere Bigborogha 11 .
Senator Agwariavwodo pointed out in his speech that the late Pere who is a man of peace had cordial ties with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori who is very much concerned using the instruments of his
good office as encapsulated in the MORE AGENDA to maintain a peaceful Delta State, noting that Delta did not experience any chaos in the last national protest as a result of the due diligence of the Governor.
He advised Members of the Royal Family , the entire Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom to emulate the golden path of the Monarch to maintain his enviable legacies .
He said: ” The best thing we need to do now is to maintain the path of peace and honor, which were the virtues that distinguished our departed Royal Father when he was alife as Bigborogha 11.”
Speaking further, Senator Agwariavwodo added: ” Governor Oborevwori loves the Bigborogha Royal Family, the People of Ngbilebiri Kingdom, the Burutu LGA people and indeed the ljaw nation in general that is why he has gone the extra mile to create the Ministry of Riverine infrastructure headed by an illustrious son of Ngbilebiri Mein Kingdom in the person of Hon Ebikeme Clark.”

Your being here to honor the memory of my late father is a testament of the profound impact he made in Ngbilebiri Mein kingdom and beyond and the Worthy life he lived before his transition to ecclesiastical abode.
He was a man who made Peace as his first article of fate, a man with great wisdom, strength, and compassion, he dedicated his life to serving others. Seeing so many dignitaries gathered here is a strong reminder of the legacy he left behind. To our friends and family who traveled from near and far, your support means the world to us. Your kind words, prayers, and comforting presence have been a source of strength during this difficult time.
My father cherished the relationships he built with each of you, and I know he is smiling down on us today, grateful for the love and respect you have shown.
