Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, Kogi State chapter Mourns Passing of Gov. Ododo’s Father
The Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo, father of Kogi State Governor, Ahmed Usman Ododo.
In a statement issued on Tuesday evening, the Kogi State Chairman of PSN, Dr. Lawal Muhammed, described the late elder statesman as a man of great wisdom whose contributions to humanity and to Kogi State would never be forgotten.
“This painful loss has robbed Kogi State of an octogenarian whose wealth of experience and counsel shaped many lives and greatly influenced the development of the state,” Dr. Muhammed noted.
While commiserating with Governor Usman Ododo, Dr. Muhammed said:“Late Alhaji Ahmed Momoh Sani Ododo was a father whose wisdom, compassion, and love for his family and the people of Kogi State will forever be remembered. His guidance and selfless service to humanity will continue to inspire generations.”
The PSN Chairman added: “We have lost a man who has been a symbol of peace, unity, and stability in Kogi State. His love for his people was unquestionable, and his legacy remains indelible. As he returns to his Maker, may Almighty Allah forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him Al-Jannah Firdaus.”
Dr. Muhammed further prayed for strength and comfort for Governor Ododo, his family, and the entire Ododo clan. “At this painful moment, I ask Almighty Allah to grant them the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss with courage,” he said.
