Plateau State Leaders Present Scorecards

The Deputy Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Isa Madaki Ajiji, and other dignitaries, including Hon. Musa Ashom, Hon. Markus Nyam Husseini, Hon. Danjuma Azi, and Hon. Monday Nyam, presented their scorecards at a stakeholders meeting organized by the Afizere Cultural and Community Development Association (ACCDA).

Rt. Hon. Isa Madaki Ajiji’s Achievements

The Deputy Speaker highlighted numerous projects executed in his constituency, including:

– Infrastructure:* Construction of Riseh Bridge, 2 double cells culverts at Angwan Hakimi, renovation of district head palace in Fursum, and construction of Nabar culverts.
– *Education:* Construction of 2 classroom blocks and office in Naton Fusa, ongoing construction of 3 classroom blocks and office in Naton Fusa, and payment of tuition fees to 5 Izere students at Plateau State University Bokkos.
– *Agriculture:* Distribution of 1 truck of fertilizer in 2023 and 3 trucks in 2024.
– *Health:* Construction and renovation of primary health care centers and provision of health facilities.
– *Security:* Creation of a police division in Maijuju and civil defense outpost in Fobur District.

Hon. Musa Ashom’s Achievements

The Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon. Musa Ashom, highlighted his achievements, including:

– *Education:* Renovation of G.S.S Zandi and financial assistance to numerous Izere students.
– *Empowerment:* Empowering Izere sons and daughters and lobbying for employment opportunities.

Hon. Markus Nyam Husseini’s Achievements

The Executive Chairman of Jos East Local Government Council, Hon. Markus Nyam Husseini, highlighted his achievements, including:

– *Clearing salary arrears:* Clearing all salary arrears of civil servants in Jos East.
– *Infrastructure:* Construction of markets, electrification of Kudedu, and construction of primary health care centers.

Hon. Danjuma Azi’s Achievements

The Former Member of the State House of Assembly and current Liaison Officer to the Governor, Hon. Danjuma Azi, highlighted his achievements, including:

– *Financial assistance:* Providing financial assistance to various students within his constituency.
– *Appointments and employments:* Lobbying for appointments and employments of his constituents.

Hon. Monday Nyam’s Achievements

The Senior Special Adviser to the Governor on Peace Building, Hon. Monday Nyam, highlighted his achievements, including:

– *Education:* Paying for BECE examination of over 40 students at Government Secondary School, Fusa.
– *Infrastructure:* Construction of culverts in Fursum.

The event was attended by various youth groups, women, and past leaders, showcasing the leaders’ commitment to transparency and accountability.
