Popular blogger, Tunde Ednut Gets Special Recognition Awards of Democracy Newsline Newspaper, as Global Youths Influencer of the Year 2024

A Nigerian blogger, influencer, entertainer and musician, Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle, popularly known as Tunde Ednut, has been honored with the Prestigious Award of the Democracy Newsline Newspaper as the Global Youths Influencer of the Year 2024.

The award ceremony, which took place on October 9, 2024, at the Banquet Hall of the Merit House Maitama, Abuja, marked the fourteenth anniversary of the media outfit and the sixty-fourth anniversary of Nigeria’s Political Independence.
In his speech, Chief Olugbemi Femi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Michabifem Ventures Limited, the publisher of Democracy Newsline/blog, emphasized the importance of recognizing and appreciating the talents, achievements, and contributions of individuals and organizations who have excelled in their respective fields.
The event also featured papers on the role of social media in the development of the agriculture sector by Dr. Tunde Arosoyin, National Coordinator of Zero Hunger Nigeria, and on “Nigeria and the personal perspective in politics” by Comrade Bala Ibrahim.
Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle was represented by Jerome Muyiwa Ajibade who received the award of honor on his behalf, and pointed out that he is happy with the recognition coming from Nigeria.
According to his representative, Tunde Ednut sent his note of commendation to the organizer, stressing that he will continue to do that which will enhance the emancipation of the upcoming generation globally.
It will be recalled that Tunde Olaoluwa Adekunle, popularly known as Tunde Ednut, is a Nigerian blogger, influencer, entertainer and musician noted for his blog and songs “Jingle Bell” and “Catching Cold”, which was a Headies award nominee for best pop single at The Headies Awards of 2013, He is being recognized due to his activities in promoting young generation in the creative sector and as an Ambassador of the black race that is making Africa continent proud globally.
Other recipients of special recognition awards included H.E. Hon. Mohammed Umaru Bago, Niger State Governor, HE Mrs. Agyin Agbu Kefas, First Lady of Taraba State, and several other prominent figures.
