Congratulates His Royal Majesty, Ogonikara I, the Mighty Diamond, Pere of Tubutoru Kingdom

Populist High Chief Wellington Bobo, the Oroupawei of the ancient Gbaramatu Kingdom, has extended his warmest congratulations to His Royal Majesty, Eseimokumo Ogonikara I, Oguruyeke Okrimini, the Mighty Diamond, the Pere of Tubutoru Kingdom,
on the occasion of the presentation of the Staff of Office by the Governor of Ondo State, marking his formal recognition as the Pere of Tubutoru Kingdom.

High Chief Wellington Bobo described the historic event as a landmark moment not only for Tubutoru Kingdom but for the entire Ijaw nation in Ondo State and the Niger Delta at large. He noted that the elevation and formal installation of His Royal Majesty represent the triumph of tradition, cultural identity, and the enduring resilience of the Ijaw people.

According to the Oroupawei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, the emergence of His Royal Majesty as the paramount ruler of Tubutoru Kingdom comes at a critical time when traditional institutions are needed to foster peace, unity, cultural preservation, and sustainable development within Ijaw communities.

High Chief Bobo expressed confidence that the reign of His Royal Majesty, Eseimokumo Ogonikara I, will be characterised by wisdom, fairness, and progressive leadership, anchored on the rich customs and values of the Ijaw people. He prayed that the Almighty God grants the Pere good health, long life, and divine guidance to lead his people to greater harmony, prosperity, and relevance.

He further commended the Ondo State Government for recognising the historic significance of Tubutoru Kingdom and strengthening traditional governance through the presentation of the Staff of Office.

“On behalf of the Gbaramatu Kingdom and the entire Ijaw nation, I congratulate His Royal Majesty on this well-deserved honour. May his throne be blessed, his reign peaceful, and his kingdom flourish,”
Populist High Chief Wellington Bobo stated.
