President Legend Club of Okunland, Dr. Femi Olubiyo Condemns Gruesome murder of Sunday Aiyedero and one other in Odo-Ape community
Calls on security agencies to step up their operations tactics to combat criminal elements in Okunland
The President of the Legend Club of Okunland, Dr. Femi Olubiyo has condemned the gruesome murder of Mr Sunday Aiyedero, an indigene of Odo-Ape and one Mr Black a tiv man in cold blood by suspected bandits who invaded the community on Friday, January 3rd, 2025 stressing that he is saddened over the reported killings of two people in Kabba-Bunu LGA of the state.
In a message signed and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, Dr Olubiyo expressed his shock at the senseless killing of the two innocent souls, describing the unwarranted attacks on the peaceful community as barbaric and callous.
He said it is becoming worrisome for the people not be able to go to their farms without fear of either being killed or kidnapped, urging the security agencies to step up their operations to combat crimes and criminalities in the area.
Dr. Olubiyo commended the swift action of the state government led by Governor Ododo Usman who immediately directed that the military be deployed there to maintain peace, law and order with the assurance of guaranteeing the safety of lives and properties, hence reducing tension in the community.
He sympathized with the families of deceased, the Obaro of Odo-Ape, Oba Meseko and the entire community, and prayed that God will grant their souls eternal rest.
