President Tinubu Confers National Honour of CFR on Deputy Senate President Senator Barau Jibrin

The Deputy Senate President, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, has expressed his profound appreciation to the President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, for conferring him with the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (CFR).
Mr. Make the confirmation during his national broadcast to mark Nigeria’s Independence Anniversary, President Tinubu announced the conferment of the CFR honour on Senator Barau, in recognition of his significant contributions to the development of Kano State and Nigeria at large.
Senator Barau Confirmation , came as no surprise, because he always been dedicated to delivering the dividends of democracy to the people of Kano State, and this recognition reflects the hard work and commitment he have put into serving his constituents and the nation.
The honour marks a continuation of accolades for Senator Barau, who was previously awarded the Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by former President Muhammadu Buhari in October 2022. His consistent and unwavering dedication to improving the lives of the people in Kano State and contributing to the overall governance of Nigeria has earned him widespread respect and recognition.
Under Senator Barau’s leadership, Kano North has witnessed tremendous achievements, with numerous projects initiated and completed to benefit his constituents.
