President Tinubu swears in new ministers at Presidential Villa

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Thursday swore in Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro and Kingsley Tochukwu Udeh as new Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction and Minister of Science and Technology, respectively.

The swearing-in ceremony was held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

As the new Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Doro is replacing Prof Nentawe Yilwatda, who resigned from the office following his emergence as the new National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Likewise, Udeh is taking over the office as Minister of Science and Technology following the resignation of Geoffrey Uche Nnaji, who resigned over pressure from an alleged certificate forgery saga.

Both Dr. Doro and Mr. Udeh took their oath of office before President Tinubu, officially assuming their new roles in the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
