Saint Vincent College Okwagbe Old Students Association (SVCOSA) is set to mark its Diamond Jubilee with a grand celebration. The highlight of the event will be a Jubilee Lecture to be delivered by Professor Christopher Orubu , a highly respected authority of economics theories.

The National President of SVCOSA, Prof. GG Darah, will kick off the celebration with a keynote address, setting the tone for a series of events planned to commemorate this significant milestone.

The celebration will commence with a Holy Mass at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Okwagbe, reflecting the college’s commitment to its spiritual roots and values.

Following the Mass, attention will turn to the commissioning of a special Diamond Jubilee project, symbolizing the institution’s continuous dedication to growth and development.

A dynamic and engaging debate, featuring current students of the College, will provide a platform for intellectual exchange and showcase the vibrant academic community that SVCOSA has fostered over the years.

In a bid to support future endeavors, there will be a Fundraising event, aiming to gather contributions for scholarships, infrastructure, and other initiatives that align with the college’s vision.

The festivities will culminate in a grand Reception, providing an opportunity for alumni, faculty, and guests to connect, reminisce, and celebrate the shared history of St. Vincent College.Closing formalities will mark the end of the Diamond Celebration, leaving a lasting impression on the attendees and serving as a testament to the enduring legacy of St. Vincent College Okwagbe.

The event promises to be a memorable occasion, reflecting not only on the accomplishments of the past but also on the exciting prospects that lie ahead for SVCOSA.
