Regional Security Summit: A New Dawn for Safer States

Governor Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State convened a historic meeting with Security Advisers from neighboring states, including Hon. Comdr. Jerry Omodara Rtd of Kogi State, to fortify security architecture and safeguard lives and properties.

The meeting, held at the Governor’s office in Ado-Ekiti, followed a one-day inaugural summit of Special Advisers on Security Matters from Ekiti, Ondo, Kwara, Osun, and Kogi States. This unprecedented collaboration signals a new era of regional cooperation in the fight against insecurity.

Hon. Comdr. Jerry Omodara Rtd, representing Kogi State, shared his vast experience and insights on how Kogi State, under the leadership of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, is successfully combating insecurity. His contributions highlighted the importance of inter-state cooperation in achieving regional security.
