Renewed Hope POS/Start-Up Cash Empowerment Program reaches 100 beneficiaries, as Omoluabi dedicates success to Tinubu/Ododo continuity

Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi, Chairman of the Special Advisers Forum to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, has successfully continued to inspire petty business owners, entrepreneurs and jobless youths and women across Kogo West Senatorial district through the Renewed Hope POS/Start-Up Cash Empowerment Program which seeks to empower the people towards sustainability and independence.

The city of Lokoja was agog as all the fifty beneficiaries across the ten (10) political wards in Lokoja Local Government Area received theirs, marking a major milestone in his continuous efforts to promote grassroots economic development and youth empowerment.

The empowerment initiative, which commenced in December 2025, was strategically designed to support small-scale entrepreneurs, petty traders, youths and women by providing them with POS machines and start-up cash to strengthen their businesses and improve their means of livelihood. The programme has since impacted dozens of beneficiaries across Kogi West, thereby stimulating local commerce and encouraging self-reliance among residents.

Speaking during the final phase of the exercise, Hon. Omoluabi expressed profound joy and fulfilment over the success of the programme, noting that the smiles and excitement on the faces of the beneficiaries remained his greatest source of motivation.
_“Seeing the happiness on their faces gives me the courage to do more. Our target is five hundred (500) beneficiaries, and by the grace of God, we will surely reach and even surpass this number,”_ he affirmed.

Hon. Omoluabi during his speech said the idea was not with any political undertone for himself, stressing that the empowerment programme was borne out of genuine concern for the welfare of the people rather than political calculations.
_“If this programme was about politics, I would have waited until election time before carrying it out. But this is purely about service, compassion and giving our people a better chance at economic stability,”_ he stated.

He further explained his decision to publicise the initiative, emphasising the importance of transparency and accountability in public service.
_“As a public figure and politician, people naturally want to know what you have done for them. It is only right that we openly share our efforts so the public can see and assess the impact,”_ he added.

According to him, the overarching objective of the Renewed Hope Empowerment Programme is to reduce unemployment, encourage entrepreneurship and contribute meaningfully to the socio-economic development of Lokoja and Kogi State at large.

In their separate remarks, the beneficiaries could not hide their joy and appreciation, describing the intervention as timely and life-changing. Many offered heartfelt prayers for Hon. Omoluabi, asking God to grant him good health, wisdom and continuous blessings upon his family and political career.

The successful distribution of the empowerment package across the ten wards has been widely applauded by community leaders and residents, who described Hon. Omoluabi Bode Adeyemi as a leader with genuine passion for grassroots development.
