Rep Salman Idris Congratulates Hon. Duro Meseko at 60.

The member representing Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Salman Idris has congratulated the Deputy National Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Duro Meseko on the occasion of his 60th birthday anniversary.

In a statement personally signed by the lawmaker on Thursday, Hon. Idris described Meseko as an exceptional leader, seasoned journalist and philanthropist whose commitment to the welfare of his people has continued to earn him admiration across Kogi State and beyond.

According to the federal lawmaker, Meseko has consistently demonstrated uncommon dedication to public service and grassroots development, noting that his contributions to human capital development and community advancement remain remarkable.

He recalled that the APC chieftain distinguished himself in journalism during his time at THISDAY Newspaper before venturing into politics, where he also served meritoriously as a member of the House of Representatives.

“Hon. Duro Meseko is a respected statesman and a bridge-builder who has devoted his life to the service of humanity. His willingness to support and uplift others, irrespective of status, makes him a rare personality in our political space,” the statement said.

Hon. Idris further commended the APC deputy national publicity secretary for his steadfast loyalty to the party and his immense contributions towards strengthening democratic ideals in the country.

The lawmaker prayed for God’s continued blessings upon Meseko, wishing him long life, sound health and many more years of impactful service to humanity.

“On behalf of my family and the good people of Kabba-Bunu/Ijumu Federal Constituency, I warmly congratulate Hon. Duro Meseko on attaining the milestone age of 60. May Almighty God grant him many more fruitful years in good health and happiness,” he added.
