Rt. Hon. Enema Paul’s Death, A big loss to Kogi Assembly – Says Ex-Speaker, Matthew Kolawole
The former Speaker of the Kogi State House of Assembly, Prince Matthew Kolawole has described the death of the former Deputy Speaker of the 8th Assembly of the Kogi State, Rt. Hon. Enema Paul as a big loss to the State House of Assembly, family and the entire State as his vibrant contributions on the floor of the house will be greatly missed.
In a statement to the press in Lokoja, Kolawole described the news of the death of Rt. Hon. Enema Paul this morning was devastating to his immediate family, Okura the Constituency he represented at the Assembly, Kogi State, and humanity at large.
He noted the monumental support and cooperation he enjoyed while serving as the Speaker of the 7th Assembly, and pointed out that Enema Paul remains one of the best legislators considering his meaningful contributions to issues relating to the overall development of the state.
While acknowledging that it is painful to lose a loved one unexpectedly, especially a resourceful colleague, Kolawole offered words of comfort to the immediate family encouraging them to take solace in the word of God, which states that there is a time to be born and a time to die.
He also used the opportunity to commiserate with the Speaker and entire members of the 8th Assembly of Kogi State and Governor Usman Ododo over the demise of a great Parliamentarian in the state.
He prayed for his soul to rest in peace.
