PRESS RELEASE
SAINIF GROUP OF COMPANIES CELEBRATES NIGERIA @ 65. CALLS FOR MORE
INVESTMENT IN SECURITY
The Group Managing Director of SAINIF group of companies, Abdullahi Ubeida has warmly felicitates with the government and people of Nigeria as the nation marks its 65th Independence Anniversary.
He said this landmark occasion offers us as Nigerians another opportunity to reflect on our collective journey, to celebrate our resilience as a people, and to renew our commitment to building a united, peaceful, and prosperous country.
Over the past 65 years, Nigeria has recorded significant achievements in education, infrastructure, arts and culture, science, governance, and most importantly, in the resilience and innovation of its citizens. Nigerians have continued to distinguish themselves at home and abroad, contributing to the nation’s reputation as a land of talent, strength, and boundless possibilities.
However, while we celebrate our progress, Ubeida notes with deep concern the rising cases of insecurity and lawlessness across various parts of the country.
The protection of lives and property is the primary responsibility of government, and we strongly urge for a renewed and robust approach to addressing issues of banditry, terrorism, kidnapping, armed robbery, and other criminal activities that continue to undermine peace and development.
We equally call on security agencies to intensify their intelligence, community engagement, and collaboration with citizens to ensure that every Nigerian feels safe in their home, workplace, school, and place of worship.
“1Security is not only about physical safety, but also about restoring public confidence, strengthening trust between citizens and government, and ensuring that justice is served without fear or favour’ he said
GMD SAINIF group of companies also urges the Nigerian populace to continue supporting the President and governments at all levels in the ongoing fight against insecurity. Nation-building requires collective responsibility. Citizens must cooperate with security agencies by sharing information, shunning acts that promote violence, and embracing peaceful coexistence. True security and stability can only be achieved when leaders and citizens work hand-in-hand for the common good.
As Nigeria enters this new chapter at 65, he believes that the nation stands at a crossroads filled with opportunities. By prioritizing security, deepening good governance, promoting inclusion, and fostering unity across our diverse cultural and religious lines, Nigeria will continue to stand tall as the giant of Africa.
We call on all Nigerians to celebrate this Independence with renewed hope, resilience, and a deeper commitment to national development. Let us remember that our diversity is our strength, and our unity is our greatest weapon against challenges.
