Sallah Celebration: Kogi State Government Concludes Distribution of Palliatives Across 21-Local Government Areas

“Today, the comprehensive distribution of palliatives across the 21 local government areas of Kogi State reached its zenith, with all local governments receiving their allocated shares.

The Commissioner for Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation, Hajia Rabiat Okute, commended the exercise as seamless and progressive.

Hajia Okute extolled the virtues of His Excellency, Governor Ododo Ahmed Usman, for prioritizing the welfare of the masses and expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Governor for entrusting her with this responsibility once again.

She also extended her appreciation to the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Agriculture, and the State Government for their collaboration in achieving this remarkable feat, which will undoubtedly bring joy to numerous households during the upcoming Sallah celebrations.

The Commissioner also acknowledged the tireless efforts of her dedicated team, comprising staff from the ministry, NGOs, security agencies, and other stakeholders, whose collective efforts ensured the success of this initiative.

She offered prayers for the Governor, the state, and wished everyone a joyous and peaceful Sallah celebration.”
