Sen. Karimi will never supply Substandard rice to his Constituents – APC Chieftain

A Chieftain of the governing All Progressives Congress in Kabba-Bunu, Chief Michael Ajayi has debunked the news being spread on social media by one Seun Jajah that the red chamber member bought and supplied substandard rice for his constituents as yuletide gifts.

He noted that this is not the first time, the Senator has given rice to his Constituents long before he was elected member of the 10th Senate to represent Kogi West Senatorial district in the National Assembly. He pointed out that nothing happened to the rice except it might be as a result of bad storage.

He further said the rice is good for consumption hence the people should not entertain any fear, stressing that the changes they noticed on the rice might be as a result of where it was kept since it was supplied in early November.

He said Senator Karimi will never involve himself in such scandalous issues, hence he advised Seun Jajah and others who may want to play politics with it to have a rethink, pointing out that the senator has since directed that some bags of rice they noticed changes should be kept aside for further check.

Chief Michael said the rice supplied is a product of a reputable organization and people saw it when its was being off-loaded at various points selected by in the seven local government areas and it was published by the media.
