Sen. Sunday Karimi donates five hundred thousand for Eid-el-Maulaud Celebration, urges Islamic Faithfuls to pray for the peace and development of the country
The Senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District and Senate Committee Chairman on Senate Services Sen. Sunday Karimi has donated the sum of five hundred thousand naira to the Muslim umah in Kogi West to celebrate this year Eid-ul-Maulud.
In a message signed by his SLA, Hon Sanjo Orebiyi and made available to newsmen in Lokoja, stressing that that El-Maulud is the day to celebrate the birthday of Prophet Muhammed (SWA)
He said Senator Sunday Karimi holds all faith in high esteem hence his proud to associate himself with them as their representative at the Senate chamber hence the donations for them to celebrate the unique day in the Islamic calendar.
He urged them to reflect on the teachings and way of life of Prophet Muhammed (SWA) to continue to live a life of sacrifice and also pray for the peace and progress of Kogi State and Nigeria at large
