Senator Sunday Karimi distributes fertilizer to Farmers in Kabba-Bunu LG

As part of his efforts to assist farmers in Kabba-Bunu Local Government Area, the senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Sunday Karimi has supported farmers in the area with 349 bags of 50 kg Fertilizers.

This gesture became imperative considering the climatic change that has grossly affected agricultural output in recent times.

During the very brief but momentous occasion, the All Progressives Congress (APC) 15 ward Chairmen with their team received 20 bags of fertilizers each to be distributed to farmers with their wards.

The traditional rulers and other stakeholders within the community were also beneficiaries of the gesture.

A body known as All Farmers Association of Nigeria, (AFAN) Kabba-Bunu Branch ably represented by its Chairman were also on ground to receive the allotted fertilizers to its members.

Kabba-Bunu LG Coordinator to the Senator, Chief Stephen Femi Owoniyi Omoga was practically on ground to supervise the distribution.

Moments after the exercise, he spoke with the newsmen who covered the event, stressed the impact the fertilizers would have on farm produces. In his words, ” I must first of all commend Senator Karimi for making these fertilizers available to our farmers at no cost. We don’t expect the beneficiaries to sell it because we all believe everyone here are farmers.”

Hon. Femi Omoga thanked Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi for his magnanimity and being responsive to his Constituents yearnings.

Kabba-Bunu LG All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Comrade Solomon Jembawondo eulogized the Senator for being a worthy representative and ambassador of good leadership. He concluded by giving a stern warning to the beneficiaries and ward Chairmen to desist from making imaginary gains from the well thought of gesture of the Distinguished Senator Sunday Karimi.
