Senator Sunday Karimi Launches Tinubu Support Group Bursary Award for East and Central Senatorial Students in Tertiary Institutions
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi, representing Kogi West Senatorial District and Chairman of Senate Services, has launched the Tinubu Support Group Bursary Award for students in the East and Central Senatorial Districts of Kogi State.
Over 1,610 students in tertiary institutions are set to benefit from this initiative.
According to a statement released by his media office in Abuja, Senator Karimi said the bursary award aims to support the educational pursuits of students from the two senatorial districts.
The initiative aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s efforts to improve the nation’s education sector.
Senator Karimi stated, “As a senator, I am committed to supporting the educational development of our students. This scholarship scheme is my contribution to the President’s agenda to enhance education in our country. Through the Tinubu Support Group, we aim to provide financial assistance to students in public tertiary institutions, enabling them to pursue their studies without undue financial burden.”
The senator’s initiative is expected to benefit students in various public tertiary institutions in the East and Central Senatorial Districts of Kogi State, providing them with financial support to achieve their academic goals and contribute to the development of the state.
