Senator Sunday Steve Karimi Delivers New Block of Classrooms to Government Secondary School, Iluke, Promises to Improve and Sustain Educational Standard in Kogi West
The senator representing Kogi West Senatorial District, Sunday Steve Karimi, has once again demonstrated his commitment to delivering the dividends of democracy to his constituency. He has completed the construction and furnishing of another block of classrooms at Government Secondary School, Iluke, in Kabba-Bunu local government area.
This project was facilitated by Sen. Sunday Karimi to improve the infrastructure and environment needed to deliver good and quality education, for which Kogi West people are nationwide known. This project is in addition to the four others already facilitated by the senator across the district in his two years of representation, aimed at improving education, the foundation for a better, progressive, and developed future for the next generation.
This project includes a block of three well-furnished classrooms, an office for the principal (a restroom, and a visitor’s room), as well as six separate convenience rooms for students. This will assist teachers and students in creating a conducive environment for teaching and learning, emphasizing the senator’s commitment to and value on education.
This is aside from the bursary award the senator, in collaboration with the Tinubu Support Group, is giving to 3,000 Kogi West students in public tertiary institutions across the country. The award is in its final stage of processing, with each beneficiary receiving N100,000 to ameliorate and reduce the burden on parents and guardians sending their children and wards to higher institutions.
Senator Sunday Steve Karimi has demonstrated quality representation in his two and a half years of representing Kogi West in the National Assembly. He has sponsored bills and motions, earning him awards and recognition, and has continued to facilitate and construct projects and initiatives that positively impact the lives of the people and their livelihood.
The Senator remains committed to serving the people of Kogi West, ensuring that more developments are facilitated and brought home to improve the livelihood of the people, enhance their lives, and bring satisfaction to every indigene and resident, no matter who they are or where they live.
